INTRODUCTION
Mark’s Aim is to support and help you grow your business and live a more fulfilling purposeful life. Coaching is a partnership focused on developing the client’s awareness, thinking, and abilities in order to help them identify and achieve their professional and personal goals. In coaching conversations, Mark will be direct and honest, and encourage the Client to do the same. The success of the coaching engagement depends upon our willingness to remain open and committed to the process.
AGREEMENT FOR COACHING SESSIONS
I understand that this is coaching and not counselling or psychotherapy and that Mark Rossetto is qualified in NLP. He is not, however, a doctor, counsellor, psychologist or psychiatrist.
I understand that coaching is a comprehensive process that may involve all areas of my life, including work, finances, health, relationships, education and recreation. I acknowledge that deciding how to handle these issues, incorporate coaching into those areas, and implement my choices is exclusively my responsibility.
As a client, I understand and agree that I am fully responsible for my physical, mental and emotional well-being during my coaching calls, including my choices and decisions. I am aware that I can choose to discontinue coaching at any time.
I understand that “coaching” is a Professional-Client relationship I have with my coach that is designed to facilitate the creation/development of personal, professional or business goals and to develop and carry out a strategy/plan for achieving those goals.
I understand that coaching does not involve the diagnosis or treatment of mental disorders. I understand that coaching is not a substitute for counseling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care or substance abuse treatment and I will not use it in place of any form of diagnosis, treatment or therapy.
I promise that if I am currently in therapy or otherwise under the care of a mental health professional, that I have consulted with the mental health care provider regarding the advisability of working with a coach and that this person is aware of my decision to proceed with the coaching relationship.
I understand that coaching is not to be used as a substitute for professional advice by legal, medical, financial, business, spiritual or other qualified professionals. I will seek independent professional guidance for legal, medical, financial, business, spiritual or other matters. I understand that all decisions in these areas are exclusively mine and I acknowledge that my decisions and my actions regarding them are my sole responsibility.
The time of the coaching sessions and/or location will be determined by the Coach and Client based on a mutually agreed upon time and place.
Prior to each session, Client and coach will determine the Session Agenda. Client emails Coach any background information needed 24 hours prior to each session.
Attend all sessions promptly and with an intention to be centred, ready to engage and take meaningful actions.
Feedback is necessary for both the Coach and Client. It is critical to be open with thoughts, feelings and preferences before during and after coaching sessions.
All my strategies and techniques are by invitation only (I do not force change on my clients) but offer you awareness, choices and the tools to take action.
All sessions are a judgment free zone.
We both agree to abide by the mutually agreed time frames to complete all commitments.
GUARANTEE / REFUND POLICY
I understand that there is a 100% money back guarantee if you attend any coaching session and are not happy after the first day/session. You need to let Mark know at the end of day 1/session and return all manuals and given resources to him to receive your refund if you have paid in full prior to the commencement of the coaching.
Your 100% participation and commitment to the coaching process is required. You are responsible for your own results and I am 100% committed to helping you achieve your desired goals.
I understand that Mark Rossetto will work with me in order to help me meet my agreed outcomes. I realise, however, that Mark Rossetto CANNOT get results for me and that my results are the outcome of my willingness to participate in the process, my own focus on my results and the actions I am willing to take. I understand that coaching is a facilitation process that assists me to access my own internal resources and take my own action. As a result, I am a fully participating agent and fully responsible for my own results.
However, if you are not completely satisfied, I encourage you to tell me asap and together we’ll devise a plan to get the value you feel you paid for.
CONFIDENTIALITY POLICY
All information that the Client shares with the Coach is bound to confidentiality by the ICF Code of Ethics but is not considered a legally confidential relationship. Mark recognises that anything the client shares is regarded as confidential, whether it is business or personal information.
The Coach will not disclose the Client’s name as a reference without the Client’s consent. Confidential information does not include information that:
- was in the Coach’s possession prior to its being furnished by the Client;
- is generally known to the public or in the Client’s industry;
- that the Coach is required by law to disclose;
- he will only release information about our work with my written permission, court order or legal subpoena.
In addition, there are some extreme situations in which he is legally obligated to breach my confidentiality and contact local law enforcement and/or social services authorities in order to protect you or others from harm. The situations include:
- Child or elderly neglect or abuse.
- Self-harm or suicidal actions.
- Harm to others.
These situations rarely occur, and Mark Rossetto would make every effort to discuss the breach of confidentiality with you before taking action
CANCELATION POLICY
It is the Client’s responsibility to notify Mark 24 hours in advance of the scheduled calls/meetings to reschedule or cancel. The Coach reserves the right to bill Client for a missed meeting. The Coach will attempt in good faith to reschedule the missed meeting and vice versa.
I also understand that the focus of all sessions will be on what I can do myself in order to make change and that my outcomes are not dependent on anyone else’s behaviour, attitude or actions. I am physically and psychologically fit to begin the program and have informed Mark Rossetto of any prescription or other drugs I may be taking at this time or any addictions I may have which may interfere with the successful completion of this program. I understand that sometimes doses of medication may need to be adjusted when doing NLP and that I will be responsible for informing my doctor or psychiatrists that medication may need to be monitored.
FEES, PAYMENTS & SERVICE TERMS
The client agrees to an appropriate Coaching Program. Payment is due prior to session unless as agreed with Mark. Endurance and complete business coaching programs, payment is due the same day of each month. When Cancelling endurance and complete coaching agreement one month notice is required. (As agreed by both parties. These fees may be tax deductible as a business expense, please check with your tax advisor). Fees will be paid via bank deposit prior to initial coaching session. Endurance and complete are to agree on a date, for Direct Debts to be made on same date each month. Eg: 1st of every month. Missed payments must be paid within 48 hours.
Endurance and complete business coaching programs, the coach will be available to Client by e-mail and phone in between scheduled meetings as defined by the Coach. These programs have a minimum of 4 months. Meeting is scheduled in advance to meet on the 1st week and 3nd week or 2nd week and 4th week of each month for 90min session. If a session is missed for whatever reason by which ever party due to holiday, sickness, etc. The session must be made up asap or within the following month. The payments will stay the same.
The Coach may also be available for additional time, per client’s request on a prorate basis rate of $250.00 per hour. For reviewing documents, reading or writing reports, engaging in other client related services outside of coaching hours
I confirm that I have read and understood this contract, and I agree to enter into this contract with Mark Rossetto Coaching.
